Henri Cartier-Bresson

Giuseppe Truppi was born in Napoli in 1986 and currently lives between Madrid and San Sebastián.

Graduated from Roma Tre University with a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a diploma in Direction of Photography from the Ecam in Madrid, his projects cover different international festivals.

Highlights:

-AE 1959 (2023) by Elias León Siminiani, awarded for best short film at the Goya Awards.

-El agua (2022) by Elena Lopez Riera, premiered at the Quinzaine des Realisateurs in Cannes. 

-Apuntes para una pelicula de atracos (2018) by Elías León Siminiani, premiered at San Sebastián Film   Festival, nominated for best documentary film at the Goya Awards and awarded for best documentary at   the Feroz Awards.

-Los que desean (2018) by Elena López Riera, awarded with Pardino d'Oro at Locarno festival.

-Los mutantes (2016) by Gabriel Azorín, premiered in Seville European Film Festival.

-Pueblo (2015) by Elena Lopez Riera, short film premiered at the Quinzaine des Realisateurs in Cannes.

Between 2018 and 2021 he directed the photography of two Netflix documentary series: The Alcasser Murders and 800 Meters.
